DIY Lighting Setup I was very limited to what equipment i could use, for my backdrop i used white A3 paper that i stuck together using tape. For the lighting, i used a newer ring light and luckily there was a window to the right of my set up so that gave lots of additional light that helped a lot. To get rid of the glare on the iPad screen i just used another white sheet of paper to block some of the light out and it worked pretty well.
working with flash For this lab we were working with manual flash, which has a lot more uses that i thought. For the first photo we were in the photography studio and it was nice to be able to work with the flat white backgrounds. - For this photo i messed around with the exposure compensation and flash compensation. overall i think the result turned out really well and the flash isnt too bright while the exposure on the outside still remains perfect - For this photo the darkness of the room helped get the lighting correct, the hardest part for me is balancing the ambient light, but i still happy with the outcome,
